About AGROS NECTAR
AGROS NECTAR is a three year EU-funded agricultural promotion programme that highlights the quality, safety, and authentic character of European citrus fruit juices. The campaign focuses on three emblematic citrus varieties, orange, mandarin, and grapefruit, showcasing their natural flavour profile to consumers and professionals in China and Japan.
The programme is implemented by REA COOP, a historic producers organisation founded in 1938 that represents over than 1.000 farmers. With modern processing facilities, including the “Esperides” juice and fruit-processing plant, EASA combines long-standing know-how with advanced production technology to ensure products that consistently meet the strict requirements of the European Union.
Every action within AGROS NECTAR aims to strengthen awareness of EU agricultural standards, support responsible consumption, and showcase the core values that define European food production. Through communication activities, market events, tasting experiences, and information materials, the programme provides a clear view of the quality, transparency, and trusted safety that characterise European citrus juices.
